I hope you like your parts to rust and fall apart and as for performance is not anything more than stock .if u dont know ebay by know the only good parts are from the reputable dealers and the header is prob the same as stock with a little hint of "bling bling".But your money so choose as you will

i got my cold air from them to.But that is just a piece of pipe not seeing the weather and a mild performance. But all in all the parts you listed are mostly for the bling and dont expect it to last long.I got my skunk 2 catback for 200 used off a guy from ebay, so look for parts like that.just not the chromed out junk.

Damn it.... I saw the topic and headed straight in.
Two sides to eBay products. There are some good and some bad. OBX exhausts, I would buy any day... good quality and good materials. My cat back is OBX... I like it... looks just as good of quality as the Greddy I had on my Prelude and Civic and BETTER than the Apexi' "stainless" N1 on my Subaru ("stainless" because the muffler completely rusted out within 4 years). No name eBay crap. Skip it. I have been fighting with my damn eBay header since the first day I bought it.... from it not fitting correctly (too short, touches the oil pan) to the cracked weld and now with the crappy gasket surface. I can't speak for Megan Racing, but I wouldn't buy any 2 piece header that didn't come with OEM style gaskets (I think DC Sports may be the only one that does). I would buy a 1 piece header though from many makers... I was going to sell my Comptech header because it didn't fir my car, but I am rethinking that now since I have had so much trouble with the header I bought.

I heard the oens I bought fit good too. I know now that they don't. I don't like second hand info...
but the catbacks, I would turst more as there is more room for error before it doesn't fit...

I have no way to know whether or not the company even sent me the correct header (I think they sent one for a 92-93 Integra), so the length may be one thing, but the fact that it rests against the oil pan without CAREFUL manipulation is pretty bad.

yeah fvck that ebay shit, if you're going to be building a high hp car, ebay quality will get you nowhere. Don't waste your money on this garbage. And especially dont buy it if you are buying it for your F22.
If you're serious about building a motor, like you said, then dont cheap out, do it right. If not I'm sure they'll give you a good deal if you buy it at the same time you buy the underglow... |

all crap unless its name brand stuff... I bought a ebay header for my f22 that I had in my old accord but I bought it b/c the stock exhaust manifold was cracked and this was a cheep fix.. no hp gain.and looked like crap in a month once I drove the car in the rain..do it right the first time and never have to worry about it again....

Name brand doesn't mean it isn't crap... don't fall for that marketing crap... crap with a name brand is crap with a fancier label and higher price.

well thats just my 2 cents... obx is ok for exhaust i guess but it's only 2.25 in... my h22 needs to breath better than that.. u all ways just have to look at the long term goals of ur car that's y I said do it right the first time...

^ For NA, 2.25" to 2.5" is about as big as you want to go. You need to keep back pressure. If you are going turbo, 3" straight back is always fun.
Case in point, NA = Want some backpressure FI = NOOOOO The OBX stuff I have seen is pretty good considering the price. I would rather get custom piping to a muffler of my choice and with a resonator of my choice. But that is just me. |

2.5 for NA h22 is perfect. back pressure is good for a h23 or f22 but I have to say a h22a doesn't need back pressure it revs to high and limits the hp but u might lose I 1ft lb or 2 of torque. there are lots of people running 3in on h22 preludes and seeing great gains!!

3" has proven gains on a NA lude. Is it worth the price vs 2.5? probably not |

back pressure is bad. you do not want back pressure. you want velocity, enough so your exhaust basically creates a vacuum.
billy runs a 3" on his mildly modified NA engine (stock cams, stockish bore, stock stroke, stockish compression, etc). I believe David has a 3" as well with the same lack of mods and my car will also be getting the 3" treatment with few mods. Edit: I should note that Billy's, David's, and my car are not street driven, so the fact that a 3" is fine for us, does not mean it is fine for you (also, our cars have H22s, so if we are talking F22 or H23, the size will need to come down). I thought I would do a quick search to find you guys a little relevant info on exhaust velocity. I think this little article does a pretty good job explaining it, even if they are referring to Miatas. http://www.miata.net/garage/KnowYourCar/S4_Back.html
