Default light wheels

i know i will prob get cursed at for starting a wheel thread but i am having trouble finding some good quality lightweight wheels that go with this prelude green (its either forest or emerald). I've looked and found a lot i like but out of price range. which is $1600 for wheels and tires. i would like 17 X 8 (or whatever will fit with no mods)

On this note.... I have a set of Enkei RPF1s in black. 17x8 et45mm. They have tires on them now but the tires will need to be "refreshed" before too long. They have been setting for a while as I ran them on my Civic for about a year before I traded it in for the wife's car. They are as flawless as they come. $750. Located in Grand Prairie.

thanks for reply. i have been searching and i am leaning towards the RPF1. BUT my problem is i have the lovely Honda metallic/emerald green, not to many colors go with it. black just kinda blends in and i don't want something bright (chrome). dont think RPF1 comes in grey or gun metal. ive been looking at so many wheels the last few days, i just want something that is light and looks good with green.
and of course i only have about $1600 for wheels and tires. i am looking at 17" cause they look better and are still lighter than my factories

i dont know though, with that blue on the car, its kinda cool. it just screams "look at me".
as far as my car though, i think im stuck on getting those RPF1's. you just cant beat the quality and price. although i would like to get a grey or gunmetal, which those dont come in. i might just go ahead and get that silver, i think they call it. oh and there pretty light. i was think 17X7.5 and 215 45 17.

It was like driving around a Hot Wheel. I liked it, but I am sick like that. The color choice wasn't by accident. I wanted orange wheels and the neon orange really was the only one that looked "right" with the bright blue.

so you had those powder coated? if i get these RPF1's, do you know a good powder coater/painter that can change them to gunmetal? i wont do it right away unless i really dont like the way it looks.

hey, can you photo chop RPF1's in that silver color on my car?

how do the rims your selling look like (condition wise)
Tirerack has them new for 225 a wheel.
why are you getting rid of them? i did a thread search and you got them in 07?

I am selling because I don't need them. It sounds simple, but it is the truth. I have held onto them this long because I REALLY like them and the odds of me having a new car that they will fit is VERY good. I have held them with them for sale at $750 since I took them off. That is the price that I feel that they are worth more in money than in potential to me.

Enough of the explanation.

I got them in May of 2008. I swapped out between them and the orange wheels from then until September of 2009. They MIGHT have a year's worth of driving on them because I did "wear" the orange wheels quite a bit (they have better summer tires on them for playing around). They have worn one set of tires (that had a hard life). I *JUST* got back from the garage looking at them just to be sure, but you wouldn't know these were used if it weren't for them wearing tires. They are in flawless condition. I drove the tires hard, but I am VERY careful with my wheels.... I spent too much on them to damage them.

For the record.... TireRack has my wheels for $252 each as mine are 17x8 ET48 (the 17x7.5s are $248 even... black is a bit more than silver). You are MORE than welcome to come over and have a look at them if you are interested.

Edit: I would "photoshop" (I really just use MS Paint), but my hand is killing me right now... enough computer for a while.

As for a good powder coater, I used Top Koat in Kennedale. I liked his work and it was flawless when I got the orange wheels back. http://www.topkoat.net/

i would like to take a look, but i was planning on getting that silver. i think that would look better with my green, since they dont have the gunmetal. Tirerack did drop the price about 20 bucks because the other day i actually went through the ordering process (just to see what the price would be) and they ended up being 225 a wheel (900 total). of course with out tires.

Default H center caps

I ended up going with Enkei RPF1 in gun metal color. I will post pic if I still remember how lol. I have not lowered it yet but I can with my Teins. Only problem I'm having is finding a good quality set of H center caps in gun metal color. With a black H not red.
